ISO 3166-2:FI

The list of ISO -3166 -2 codes for Finland contains the codes for the 19 landscapes (Finnish Maakunta, Swedish landskap ).

The codes are composed of two parts which are separated by a hyphen. The first part is the country code according to ISO 3166-1 ( for Finland FI ), the second the code for the landscape. The current country code is in the Newsletter II-3 dated 13 December 2011 (PDF ) last updated.

From the publication in 1998 and the change in December 2011, the ISO -3166 -2 codes were for Finland from the abbreviations of the six provinces ( Lääni ).
