Israel Dov Frumkin
Israel Dow Frumkin (also: Israel Dov Frumkin, born October 29, 1850 in Dubrovna, Russia, † May 10, 1914 in Jerusalem) was a pioneer of Hebrew journalism, author of several books (mostly translations) and made major contributions to build Jerusalem.
Israel Dow Frumkin were over 40 years, from 1869 to 1911, the Hebrew Two weekly Chawatzelet out and worked within the orthodoxy for a modernization of the Yishuv. He was also editor of the Yiddish sheet The Rose.
Israel Dow Frumkin was the father of anarchist Abraham Frumkin ( 1872-1946 ).
