István Somodi

István Somodi ( born August 22, 1885 in Cluj, Romania today, † June 8, 1963 ibid ) was a Hungarian high and long jumper.

At the 1906 Summer Olympics in Athens, he was eighth in the long jump and sixth in the standing long jump. In the high jump, he did not finish in the top eight.

In 1908 he shared the high jump of the London Olympics with 1,88 m skipped the silver medal with Con Leahy and Géo André, behind Harry Porter ( 1,905 m).

In 1905 he was national champion in the long jump, high jump in 1908.
