Ivan Joller

Ivan Joller ( born April 24, 1983 in Stans, Switzerland ) is a Swiss biathlete.

Career

Ivan Joller began in 2000 with the sport of biathlon and since then also belongs to the Swiss national team. The carpenter from Krems is trained by Manfred Geyer and starts for the SC Bannalp Wolf shooting.

Joller debuted in 2002 still unsuccessful at the Junior World Championships in Ridnaun. In 2003, in Kościelisko the results were not significant, only in 2004 in Haute Maurienne, he was able to achieve a good result with rank 17 in singles. In the Junior European Cup Joller repeatedly attained top ten results. At the beginning of the season 2002/ 03 he was in tenth in a sprint his debut in the European Cup in Windischgarsten. His start in the individual ( 75 ) at the Biathlon World Championships 2005 in Hochfilzen was also his debut in the Biathlon World Cup. Best results at the Biathlon World Championships 2006 in Langsdorf was a 26th place in the sprint and finished ninth in the relay. In the military world Meisterschafte the year, the Swiss finished in 24th place in the sprint. At Holmenkollen in Oslo in 2007 he could in a single World Cup win for the first time as 24 points.
