Ivett Gonda ( born April 28, 1986 in Jászberény, Hungary ) is a Canadian Taekwondo, which starts in the fly and bantamweight.

The Hungarian-born Gonda came with her parents in early childhood to Canada. She trains today under Lim Shin -wook at the club Taegeuk TaeKwonDo in Port Moody.

Gonda played their first international title fights in the adult range at the 2003 World Championships in Garmisch -Partenkirchen, where she could get a good result in the semifinals of the class up to 47 kg with the feeder. Another successful event was the following year 2004. Gonda was first in Santo Domingo Pan champion. She qualified for the Olympic Games in Athens. With two opening victories they achieved in the class up to 49 kg the semifinals, where she was eliminated against the later Olympic champion Chen Shih- Hsin. After another defeat in the small final she missed a medal ultimately scarce and finished fifth. Your next medal Gonda fought with bronze at the Pan Cup 2006 in Buenos Aires. She took in Beijing at their second Olympic Games in 2008, in part, but dropped out after their opening fight and finished third in the final standings in eleventh. Gonda won in the category up to 53 kg at the Pan Championships 2010 in Monterrey her second overall title. Another title she finally won in the category up to 49 kg at the Pan American Games 2011 in Guadalajara.
