Jack Judge

Jack Judge ( born December 3, 1878 in Oldbury, England; † July 28, 1938 in West Bromwich, England ) was a British vaudeville singer. His parents were Irish descent, and his grandparents came from County Tipperary. He is best known as the composer of the song It's a Long Way to Tipperary, the first time he lectured on January 31, 1912 at the Grand Theatre of Stalybridge.

Jack Jugdge died in 1938 at the age of 60 years. In the town of Stalybridge, a memorial plaque was placed in 1953, which is to remember him.
