Jack Parker (decathlete)

Jack Parker (actually Roger Parker, born September 27, 1915 in Beaver, Oklahoma, † May 1964 ) was an American decathlete.

At the U.S. Championships, which served as eliminator for the Olympic Games in Berlin, he was charged with 7290 points, third behind Glenn Morris and Bob Clark.

In Berlin, this result is repeated: Parker won with 7275 points behind bronze Morris, who set a world record with 7900 points, and Clark with 7601 points.
