Jadel Gregório

Jadel Gregório (born 16 September 1980 in Jandaia do Sul, State of Paraná ) is a Brazilian triple jumper.

The Pan-American Junior Champion in 1999 winning the bronze medal at the Universiade 2001. In 2003 he was at the World Indoor Championships in Birmingham sixth at the World Championships in Paris / Saint- Denis fifth and won silver at the Pan American Games in Santo Domingo.

Another silver medal at the World Indoor Championships in Budapest in 2004 was followed by a fifth place at the Olympic Games in Athens. The following year he was at the World Championships in Helsinki sixth. At the World Indoor Championships in 2006 he came again to the silver medal.

His most successful year was 2007. On 20 May 2007, he scored in Belém has a width of 17.90 m and is therefore in the eternal world ranking to seventh place (as of July 2008). At the 2007 World Championships in Osaka, he won silver, and at the Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro gold.

Jadel Gregório has a competition weight of 98 kg at a height of 2.00 m. He lives in São Paulo. The Brazilian Championships, he also launched the long jump and in 2002 and 2004 national champion. There he established in 2004 his personal best of 8.22 m.
