Jaeger 70

Jaeger 70 is a red grape variety. It came from a natural cross between the wild vine Vitis Vitis rupestris and lincecumii. The Swiss-born Hermann Jaeger, who emigrated to the United States of America to Neosho, selektionierte from this cross the best specimens and developed the variety Jaeger 70 He personally dedicated this variety and his friend Thomas Volney Munson Rebzüchter and named it Munson. However, the cultivar has remained more common among the selection number 70.
