James McFadden

James McFadden ( 2009)

James McFadden ( born April 14, 1983 in Glasgow ) is a Scottish football player. He is currently the Scottish first division club FC Motherwell under contract.

Career

The first professional club of the offensive all-rounder was the FC Motherwell. From 2000 to 2003 McFadden was under contract at Motherwell, where he among other things, under ex-team coach Berti Vogts matured into a national team of Scotland. From the 2003/04 season, the Scot played at Everton. Since the change period in winter 2007/ 08 James McFadden played in Everton's Premier League rivals Birmingham City. After a serious knee injury, following the expiry of his contract, he returned in October 2011 after Everton. After his contract was not renewed at Everton in the summer of 2012, he was first out of contract. End of September 2012, he completed a trial with English first division club Sunderland AFC. In early October 2012, he debuted in the U -21 Premier League for Sunderland and was over 90 minutes on the court, without signing a contract. End of October 2012 McFadden was finally obliged by Sunderland. In February 2013, he signed with FC Motherwell a contract until the end of season 2012/13.

McFadden played 48 times in the Scottish national football team. On 12 September 2007 he scored in the 64th minute match against France from about 20-25 meters the 1-0 final score for Scotland.
