James Mulva

James J. Mulva ( born June 19, 1946 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin) is an American manager.

Life

Mulva studied economics at the University of Texas at El Paso and received a bachelor 's and master 's degree in business administration. Then he was up to the beginning of his career with Phillips in 1973 working as a U.S. Navy officer. He was 2004-2012 President and CEO of the U.S. company ConocoPhillips. Mulva sits on the board of the National Petroleum Council.

He and his wife, Miriam, donated U.S. $ 7,000,000 for the construction of a new library at St. Norbert College in De Pere, a suburb of Green Bay, Wisconsin, which was then named after them. Mulva received on 14 May 2010 from the Colorado School of Mines, an honorary doctorate of engineering. James Mulva is married and has two children.
