James Tillis

James " Quick" Tillis ( born July 5, 1957 in Tulsa ) is a former American heavyweight boxer.

Career

He became professional in 1978 and initially proposed a number unknown structure opponents. After twenty victories, he received a title shot against WBA champion Mike Weaver, he clearly dominated at the beginning of the fight before he lost stamina completely collapsed and about 15 rounds on points.

In 1982 he had a point win against Earnie Shavers, but against Pinklon Thomas, Greg Page and Tim Witherspoon, he lost by TKO, respectively.
