James White (basketball)

James William White IV ( born October 21, 1982 in Washington DC) is an American professional basketball player.

At a size of 2.01 m, he plays on the position of the guards and forwards. His nickname Flight 75 he owes his enormous bounce. White is known for his athleticism and his breathtaking dunks, like a dunk from the free throw line with both hands ever since his high school days. James White reached 2001 " McDonald's High School Slam Dunk " contest and 2006 in the " NCAA College Slam Dunk Contest" each 2nd place. After several attempts in the NBA, for example, in the San Antonio Spurs in 2008, he signed in November 2009 a contract with the Russian basketball club BK Spartak Saint Petersburg in the Super League. After the expiration of his contract in Russia White ran from 2012 to 2013 for the New York Knicks in the NBA.
