Jamie Johnson (ice hockey)

Jamie Johnson ( born January 23, 1982 in Port Franks, Ontario ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is since July 2013 at the Hershey Bears in the American Hockey League contract.

Career

Jamie Johnson began his career as a hockey player in the Canadian Junior Football League Ontario Hockey League, where he was active for the Sarnia Sting and Oshawa Generals 1999-2003. From 2003 to 2005, the center played each a year in the ECHL, where he could draw attention to themselves, so it mostly in the American Hockey League aground Stars in the 2005/06 season for Iowa. Previously, he had completed again some games for the Augusta Lynx in the ECHL. The 2006/07 season started the right shooter again at Augusta in the ECHL and the AHL in Iowa, changed the course of the season but within the AHL with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers. After 58 scorer points in 79 games of the regular season for the Albany River Rats he set a new personal AHL - best figure for the 2007/ 08 season, he went to the 2008/09 season for the first time to Europe, where he worked for TPS Turku in the Finnish SM - liiga was on the ice. There he could with 31 points scorer, including eight goals, convince in a total of 48 games also. For the 2009/10 season the Canadians returned to North America and played for the Rochester Americans in the AHL. He spent the following two years with their league rivals Grand Rapids Griffins.

For the 2012/13 season Johnson was hired for Dinamo Riga of the Kontinental Hockey League. For the following season, he returned to North America and the Hershey Bears joined from the American Hockey League.
