Jan- Arie van der Heijden ( born March 3, 1988 in Schoonhoven ) is a Dutch football player. Since summer 2011, the defensive midfielder is the Dutch first division club Vitesse Arnhem under contract.

Career

Association

Van der Heijden, mostly used on the left side of midfield, made ​​his league debut for the first team of AFC Ajax in Amsterdam on November 4, 2007 against Roda JC.
