Jan Ekström

January Ekström ( born October 11, 1937) is a former Swedish football player. The offensive player ran 1956-1957 on five times for the Swedish national team.

Career

Ekström debuted in 1955 as a junior player in the first team Malmö FF in Allsvenskan. After he had helped by good performance in the season 1955/56, the runner-up, nominated the selection committee of the national team - the line at the time the MFF- chairman Eric Persson was for - him in May 1956 for a match against the England team as a replacement for injured Nils -Åke Sandell.
