Jan Lachauer

January Lachauer (* 1983 in Munich) is a German animator.

Life

Lachauer studied after one year internship at Studio Soi in Ludwigsburg 2005-2011 animation at the Film Academy Baden- Wuerttemberg. Since 2007 he works as a freelance animator. Laughing Auer's first short animated film Hugo was born in 2004. During the study followed by three more short animated films, as well as 2011 will be the closing film at the Film Academy Baden- Württemberg, the Vierminüter Mr. Hoppe and the nuclear waste.

With Max Lang, whom he had met at the beginning of his studies in 2005 at the Film Academy and with whom he had worked during his student films, led Lachauer from 2011 with the short animation television movie for the cat and dog is also space on the eponymous children's book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler director.
