Jaro Deppe
Jaro Deppe ( born April 10, 1948 in Braunschweig ) is a former German football player. The striker completed from 1967 to 1973 for Eintracht Braunschweig 57 games in the Bundesliga, scoring 17 goals.
Career
Jaro Deppe, who began playing football at SV South Brunswick, already played in the Youth for Eintracht Braunschweig. His offensive talent led the young hope in the youth national team of the DFB. On April 23, 1966, he rushed to the side of the player Horst Koeppel, Rainer Budde and Hans -Jürgen Hellfritz in Attack of the DFB team, which lost an international match against France with 0:1 goals in Turin. To round 1967/68 - there were still Horstberg, Gerhard Elfert, Michael Polywka and Burkhardt Öller to Braunschweig - he moved up in the Bundesliga squad of reigning Bundesliga champion. In the first year of coach Otto Knefler, 1970/71, he made his breakthrough to regular players. In 30 missions he scored eleven goals and harmony finished fourth. 1971 Deppe was sentenced to pay a fine in the amount of DM 4400 because of his participation in the Bundesliga scandal.
From the 1971/72 season began a losing streak of center forward. For months bronchitis was abducted, from which then went after several nose, jaw and throat operations. Deppe thus lost almost entirely the two rounds 1971/72 and 1972 /73 where he only came to a total of ten league inserts with two goals.
With the harmony he rose from 1973 in the Bundesliga. For championship in the 1973/74 season in the Football League North he steered again in 19 games eleven Goals.
