Jaroslav Plašil

Jaroslav Plašil [ jaroslav plaʃɪl ] ( born January 5, 1982 in Opočno ) is a Czech football player.

After Plašil had begun his professional career at SK Hradec Králové in the Czech Republic, he moved in 1999 to the French first division club AS Monaco. In the season 2002/ 03 he was on loan at Ligue 2 club U.S. Créteil. From the season 03/ 04 he played again in Monaco.

In the National Team of his country of 183 cm midfielder completed so far 55 games, scoring four goals.

For the AS Monaco he was 113 times in use and shot five goals. Among his greatest achievements include two third and a second place in the French league well as reaching the UEFA Champions League final in 2004.

End of August 2007 changed Plašil to Osasuna. In Pamplona, he signed a four-year contract, the transfer fee was € 2.2 million, according to Spanish media. In July 2009, the Czech joined the French champions Girondins Bordeaux.
