Jarosław Bako

Jarosław Bako ( born August 12, 1964 in Olsztyn ) is a former Polish football goalkeeper.

He began his career at ŁKS Łódź in the Polish Ekstraklasa. After starting at ŁKS Łódź Jarosław Bako played in several other Polish clubs ( Legia Warszawa, Zagłębie Lubin, Lech Poznań, Stomil Olsztyn ) before finally in 1991, the first Turkish league Besiktas Istanbul.

After two successful seasons in Turkey, he moved back to Poland to Lech Poznań, before moving to Israel moved to Hapoel Tel Aviv in 1993. Here he played three season and ended his stay in Israel with a season at Hapoel Jerusalem. Then he returned to Poland and even played three season in the top division of the Polish Ekstraklasa for Stomil Olsztyn (now OKS 1945 Olsztyn ). Jarosław Bako made ​​his career then from 1999 at unterklassigen clubs like Jeziorak Iława, GKS Stawiguda, Tęcza Biskupiec and the second team of Polonia Warszawa finish.

From 1989 to 1993 Jarosław Bako played a total of 38 times for the Polish national football team. But he could to stand in the list of the great Polish goalkeeper ( such as Jan Tomaszewski, Józef Młynarczyk Jerzy Dudek or Artur Boruc ) despite these 38 missions ever.

Jarosław Bako is currently working as a goalkeeper coach for the Polish first division club Polonia Warszawa.
