Jason Moran (musician)

Jason Joseph Moran ( born January 21, 1975 in Houston, Texas) is an American jazz pianist.

Moran completed his musical studies in 1993 at the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Houston ( Texas) from. Moran models are Thelonious Monk, Andrew Hill and Don Pullen. He played a long time in the band of Greg Osby piano and entered 1999 with his album " Soundtrack To Human Motian " out.
