Javanese people

Javanese, Javanese Wong Jawa, are an ethnic group on the Indonesian island of Java, which lives mainly on Central and East Java, and Javanese ( basa Jawa ) speaks. Colloquially, all inhabitants of the island are called Javanese falsely. The residents of West Java ( Sunda ), the Sundanese ( bahasa sunda, basa sunda ) speak to Sundanese call.

The Javanese took over 1000 years to multiple religions, Buddhism and Hinduism first, which were the two most popular religions until the 16th century.
