Jayalalithaa
J. Jayalalithaa (. Jayalalithaa Jayaram, Tamil: . ஜெ ஜெயலலிதா The Jeyalalitā [ ˌ dʒejə Lalida ː ]; Jayalalitha also ) ( born February 24, 1948 in Melukote, Karnataka ) is an Indian politician and former actress of the South Indian film industries.
Life
Childhood
Jayalalithaas father Jayaram died when she was only two years old. Her aunt Vidyavati that played, among others, in CV Nagaiahs directorial debut En Veedu (1953), brought Jayalalithaas mother with the Tamil film industry in Madras in touch. Under the screen name of Sandhya she deserved Supporting Actress the family income. In her childhood, Jayalalithaa took Bharatanatyam lessons. She left school early to help support the family by working in the film business.
Film career
Her film debut was at the age of 13 years under the direction of V. Shankar Giri in the English-language movie Epistle ( 1961). Political career
