Jean-Louis Richard

Jean -Louis Richard ( born May 17, 1927 in Paris, † June 3, 2012 in Paris) was a French actor, film director and screenwriter.

Life

Richard studied Performing Arts at the Conservatoire national supérieur d'art dramatique ( CNSAD ) in Paris, which is considered the oldest and most important drama school in France. He began his career in the film business the early 1960s, first as an actor in small roles. Overall, up to and including 2003, in more than 60 productions to see.

In 1961 he was with the thriller Good luck, Eddie made ​​his debut as a director and screenwriter. In 1964 he directed the spy film Mata Hari, Agent H. 21, for which he also wrote the screenplay. His third film turned Richard 1969. His fourth and last film as a director came in 1985 with Unleashed pleasure. Richard was married from 1949 to 1951 with Jeanne Moreau. From this marriage comes Jérome son, who is a successful painter today.
