Jeannot Krecké

Jeannot Krecké ( born April 26, 1950 in Luxembourg ) is a politician of the Lëtzebuerger Sozialistech Aarbechterpartei (LSAP ).

Since July 31, 2004 Krecké Luxembourg was economic and foreign trade minister. From 2004 to 2009 he was next to Sports Minister.

On November 10, 2011 Krecké has announced its intention to withdraw entirely February 1, 2012 from politics. The General Council of the LSAP proposed on November 28, 2011 Etienne Schneider as his successor. This acted previously as a consultant in the Department of Commerce and as chairman of the energy company Enovos.

After secondary school leaving certificate in Luxembourg City Krecké had stored at the Université Libre de Bruxelles ( ULB), the examination for physical education teachers. Then he turned to economics and the accounting and taxation, which he has visited in the United States, various training courses.

After his professional retraining courses he has conducted over management, accounting and taxes, and published a book to Luxembourg income tax. He also worked as an external consultant for the company Mazars (1994-1999), Arthur Andersen (1999-2003) and Ernst & Young ( 2003-2004). In 1997 he was commissioned by the Prime Minister a report written on tax fraud in Luxembourg.

On January 19, 2012 Krecké and the Finance Minister Luc Frieden have announced the creation of two funds to invest in the future of the Luxembourg economy, the Fund's life sciences as well as the Luxembourg futures fund. He's since July 2012 the Supervisory Board of Sistema JSFC, a company listed on the London Stock Exchange Russian company.
