Jeff Hanneman

Jeffrey John " Jeff" Hanneman ( born January 31, 1964 in Oakland, California, † May 2, 2013 in Hemet, California ) was an American guitarist and co-founder of the thrash metal band Slayer.

Biography

His German-born father fought for the Americans in Normandy, his brothers in Vietnam. Hanneman, the author of songs like Angel of Death and Raining Blood was (both part of the album Reign in Blood).
