Jeff Levy-Hinte

Jeffrey Levy- Hinte, Jeffrey Kusama - Hinte, (* in Santa Monica, California) is an American film producer.

Life

Levy- Hinte has been active since the early 1990s in the film business. He studied at California State University, Northridge and the University of Michigan. In the years 1996-2006 he ran his own company with post 391, which specialized in post-production. During this time he was also involved in the cut for When We Were Kings.

Since 2000 he runs his own production company with Antidote International Films. It produces Feature films and documentaries alike. First experience in this field, he gained since the late 1990s.

The film The Kids Are All Right 2011 brought him together with Gary Gilbert and Celine Rattray an Oscar nomination for Best Picture a. 1999 and 2004 he was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award, respectively.

With the documentary Soul Power Levy- Hinte was his directorial debut in 2008, followed in 2011 with Charlotte: A Wooden Boat Story his second film.
