Jeff Nygaard

Jeff Nygaard ( born August 3, 1972 in Madison, Wisconsin ) is a former American professional volleyball and beach volleyball player. He took part in three Olympic Games.

Career

Jeff Nygaard played from 1993 to 2000 in the U.S. national team. He won the bronze medal at the 1994 World Championships in Greece and took in 1996 at the Olympic Games in Atlanta in 2000 and participated in the Olympic Games in Sydney, but where he was eliminated in each case after the preliminary round. He then moved to beach volleyball and played since 2001 on the AVP Tour. With Dain Blanton he played in 2003 and 2004 and internationally. Blanton / Nygaard 2004 took part in the Olympic Games in Athens, but left as a group Last from in the first round.
