Jeffrey Boam

Jeffrey Boam ( born November 30, 1946 in Rochester, New York, USA, † January 24, 2000 in Los Angeles, California ) was an American screenwriter and producer.

Life

Prior to his career as a screenwriter, he attended Sacramento State University, and he later took a Masters in Arts from the University of California at Los Angeles. Besides his work as a screenwriter Boam was also active as a producer. He was, inter alia, executive producer of the television series The Adventures of Brisco County Jr., for which he also wrote several screenplays. In 1993 he led the first and only -time director, as he directed an episode of the horror series Tales from the Crypt. He died at the age of 53 following a lung disease of heart failure.
