Jeffrey Donovan

Jeffrey Donovan ( born May 11, 1968 in Amesbury, Massachusetts) is an American actor, best known for his starring role as Michael Westen in the TV series Burn Notice.

Life and achievements

Jeffrey Donovan studied acting at New York University. He made his debut in one of the major roles in the independent crime drama Throwing down from the year 1995., He played a major role in the two years later produced independent film drama A grave too much and in the horror film The Blair Witch 2 from the year 2000.

For his supporting role in the film drama Sam & Joe (2003) Donovan won an award at the festival Method Fest. In the film drama Come Early Morning - The way to me he played the role of Cal Percell, falls in love with Lucy Fowler (Ashley Judd ). In the film drama Believe in Me ( 2006), he starred opposite Samantha Mathis and Bruce Dern co-starred. In the drama Changeling (2008) by Clint Eastwood, he starred alongside Angelina Jolie co-starred as a police Captain JJ Jones.

From 2007 until the series end in 2013 Donovan was seen in the lead role of the TV series Burn Notice as former secret agent Michael Westen. After Man ( 4x03 ) had directed the film already in the episode Made, Donovan, 2011 was also associated with the TV movie Burn Notice: The Fall of Sam Axe responsible for directing. In this TV movie he also had a cameo as his series character Michael Westen.

The actor lives in Los Angeles. After Donovan is dating the 23- years-younger model Michelle Woods since 2010, the two became engaged in June 2012.
