Jeffrey Marc Monforton

Jeffrey Marc Monforton ( born May 5, 1963 in Detroit ) is Bishop of Steubenville.

Life

The Archbishop of Detroit, Adam Joseph Maida, ordained him a priest on 25 June 1994.

Pope Benedict XVI. appointed him on July 3, 2012 for the Bishop of Steubenville. The Archbishop of Cincinnati, Dennis Marion Schnurr, donated to him on 10 September of the same year the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were Adam Joseph Cardinal Maida, Archbishop Emeritus of Detroit, and Allen Henry Vigneron, Archbishop of Detroit.
