Jehad Muntasser

Jihad Abdussalam Muntasser (Arabic جهاد المنتصر, DMG Ǧihād al - Muntaṣṣar, according to the English transcription Jehad Muntasser; born July 26, 1978 in Tripoli) is a Libyan footballer ehenaliger. He played mostly on the position of midfielder. He was eight years in the squad of the Libyan national team.


Muntasser started his playing career in Italy with Atalanta, from where he moved to the C Series 1995 AC Pro Sesto. In the summer of 1997, he returned to Italy for the first time the back and moved to the reserve of the Premier League team Arsenal FC. However, after a year he left London and went to the English Football League Championship Bristol City FC. Played there until the winter of 1998 and returned in January 1999 returned to Italy, where he wrote in Serie A with Empoli FC. In his first seniors stations he did not get beyond the reserve player and joined the 1999/2000 season to AS Viterbese Calcio in the Italian Serie C1. After one season, he moved to league rivals Calcio Catania. For the season 2001 /02 he moved again within the Serie C1 to L' Aquila. After just one season Muntasser then moved to the Series B club Triestina, in which he regularly came into use during two seasons. For the season 2004 /05 Muntasser then moved to AC Perugia. At the end of the season the club was zwangsrelegiert what Muntasser 1993, he moved to Treviso FBC in the Serie A, but where he has only a reserve player. After two years he moved from Treviso to Qatari club Al- Wakrah SC. There, however, he only played one year and returned in May 2008, returned to Libya to Al -Ittihad Tripoli. Muntasser belonged to the African Cup of Nations 2006, the Libyan squad, but he came in two group matches are used. Overall, he ran for his country in 11 international matches.
