Jennifer Wiseman

Jennifer J. Wiseman is an American astronomer.

Wiseman received her bachelor's degree in physics from MIT and a Ph.D. in 1995 in astronomy from Harvard University. She discovered in 1987, named after her period comets 114P/Wiseman-Skiff while she carried out a research. She is currently working as head of the Exoplanets and Stellar Astrophysics Laboratory of Astrophysics Science Division at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center.

Wiseman is a Christian and a Fellow of the American Scientific Affiliation. It was named as the new director of the American Association for the Advancement of Science 's Dialogue on Science, Ethics, and Religion on June 16, 2010.
