Jens Salumäe

Jens Salumäe ( born March 15, 1981 in Tallinn ) is a former Estonian ski jumper.

Jens Salumäe jumped during his playing career for the Estonian club Nõmme SK and like many other Estonian ski jumper for the Finnish club Puijon Hihtoseura from Lahti. He participated in the 2002/2003 season for the first time at the World Cup in part and finished at the end of the season the total space 82 Previously, he jumped back in 2002 at the Summer Grand Prix in Lahti ( No. 43 ) and at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Park City, Utah, ( No. 49 ). His best World Cup finish was a 21st place on 30 November 2003 in Kuusamo. His best World Cup Overall rank is the 59th place (2005 /2006). Salumäe is currently holder of the Estonian cup record in ski jumping. Salumäe was before his career as a special Springer Nordic combined. After the 2007/2008 season Jens Salumäe ended his active career as a special Springer.
