Jens Winter

Jens Winter ( born May 26, 1965) is a German film and theater actor of British descent. He lives in Berlin since 1987 and works as an actor in the German and English-speaking.

Work

His works include film and television productions in Germany and individual projects in Ireland and the USA. 2008 science fiction movie Summer Of The Flying Saucer of the Irish director Martin Duffy LUCAS Film Festival Frankfurt / Main, Jonah And The Vicarious Nature Of Homesickness was in competition is the winner of the Berlin Today Award 2010, the Berlinale. For the Generation section of the Berlinale has worked as objector Jens winter since 2001.

Theatre and dance

In stage productions Jens Winter works preferably bewegungschoreographisch and examines the organic connection between drama and dance.

Prior to his acting training, he learned four years the basic techniques of Butoh dance with the Japanese choreographers Yumiko Yoshioka and Minako Seki and played in four of their Berlin productions ( The Last Wedding / The Last Supper / The trip to China in Dream / Night On A Bare Mountain ).

At the Austrian director Ingrid Hammer, he starred in the drama Dance Night Dream evenings "REM phase 3" and " REM phase IV".

Your own piece of development "stop and go - a dance - theater dinner " was created together with the choreographers and contemporary dancers Tamara Bridges and Anna Widmer. stop and go was premiered in 2006 at the open-air theater Schwäbisch Hall. In Berlin, he is currently on view in the criminal menus Auftakter.
