Jerome Daniel Hannan

Jerome Daniel Hannan ( born November 29, 1896 in Pittsburgh, USA, † December 15, 1965 ) was Bishop of Scranton.

Life

Jerome Daniel Hannan received on 22 May 1921, the sacrament of Holy Orders.

On August 17, 1954, he was named by Pope Pius XII. Bishop of Scranton. The Apostolic Delegate in the United States, Archbishop Giovanni Cicognani Amleto, donated to him on 21 September of the same year the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were the Archbishop of Washington, Patrick Aloysius O'Boyle, and the Auxiliary Bishop of Scranton, Henry Theophilus Klonowski.
