Jerzy Gosiewski

Jerzy Antoni Gosiewski ( born November 20, 1952 in Maków Mazowiecki ) is a Polish politician and since 2005 member of the Sejm in the V. and VI. Election period.

He finished the Study of Forest Sciences at the Agricultural University of Warsaw. For 30 years he worked in the Polish state forests, including as a representative of the Chief Ranger of Mrągowo.

From 1990 to 1994 he was a town councilor and chairman of Mrągowo the commissions for tenders as well as education, science, sports, tourism, environmental protection and social support. From 2002 to 2005 he sat in the Parliament of the Province of Warmia - Masurian ( Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship ), in which he led the Commission for Local Selbstververwaltung and public safety.

In the 2005 parliamentary elections, he was for the constituency with 3,782 votes Olsztyn 35 on the list of Prawo i Sprawiedliwość ( Law and Justice - PiS) elected to the Sejm. In the 2007 parliamentary elections, he was confirmed with 9,244 votes for PiS deputy. He is a member of the Sejm commissions of Public Finance and Environmental Protection.
