Jessica Campbell

Jessica Campbell ( born October 30, 1982 in Tulsa, Oklahoma ) is an American actress.

Campbell grew up in St. Louis. In the comedy Election ( 1999), she played the role of Tammy Metzler lesbian schoolgirl opposite Matthew Broderick and Reese Witherspoon. For this role she was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award and the Young Star Award. The award-winning film The Safety of Objects (2001) she played alongside Glenn Close and Dermot Mulroney one of the major roles. The award-winning independent film Dad's Day (2002) she played a starring role, similar to the film Junk (2002), which she co-produced as well. She is currently working (as of March 2006) on another film project and studied anthropology in California.
