Jezierzyce, Åšwidwin County

Jezierzyce ( German Jeseritz ) is a small settlement and a former estate village in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship. The place belongs to the rural community Rabino ( United Rambin ) in the powiat Świdwiński ( Schivelbein ).

Geographical location

Jezierzyce located eight kilometers south of Rabino and has always been organizationally connected with the village Lipie ( Arnhausen ).

History

The Good Jeseritz inherited Leontine von Kleist, born von Manteuffel to her grandson Rudolf von Kleist. He succeeded in bringing in years of work, the 694 -acre estate back to economic prosperity. But only one generation has been privileged to enjoy the Jeseritzer possession. With the arrival of the Russians in Pomerania was - like all Kleistian goods - also Jeseritz lost. Rudolf von Kleist and his wife Gertrude of Usedom ( Zirmoisel ) refused to the last to leave the trek home. On March 6, 1945 Rudolf von Kleist was shot dead in his own front door of the mansion built by him in Jeseritz before the eyes of his wife by a Russian officer.

By 1945 Jeseritz belonged to the district of Belgard ( Persante ).

Church

Jeseritz had no church of their own. Kirchdorf was Arnhausen, the Evangelical Church of the Old Prussian Union, it belonged to his parish church in Belgard county, Church Pomerania until 1945. The church patronage held the landowner family von Kleist. Last German parish priest was Egbert Zieger.

Today Jezierzyce belongs to the parish of Koszalin ( Koszalin ) in the Diocese of Pomerania - Greater Poland the Polish Evangelical-Augsburg Church.
