Jim J. Bullock

Jim J. Bullock ( born February 9, 1955 in Casper, Wyoming as James Jackson Bullock ) is an American actor. He became known in Germany as Neal Tanner, brother of Willi Tanner in the television series Alf.

Early years

Jim J. Bullock was born on February 9, 1955 in Casper, Wyoming, but moved with his family early to Texas, where he grew up in the city of Odessa. He originally wanted to become a priest and attended Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee, Oklahoma.

Career

Instead of becoming a priest, Bullock went to the TV and was in the 1980s a famous entertainment actor. He played in the theater, and they had supporting roles in the sitcom Too Close for Comfort and Alf also a number of successful television appearances. In the latter series, he starred in the fourth season Neal, the brother of Willie Tanner.

In 1987, he starred in Mel Brooks ' Star Wars parody Spaceballs a supporting role as Prince Valium.

After the series Alf had been deposed in 1990, Bullock was the television and the theater faithful. He had several appearances on American television series and directed a short time a talk show with the American Fernsehevangelistin Tammy Faye Messner. From 2004 to 2007 Bullock played a supporting role as a teacher, Mr. Monroe, the ultimate in the series Ned's school madness.

In 2007 he toured with the Broadway production Hairspray by the United States.

Personal

Bullock had never concealed his homosexuality. The characters he played were often extravagant, crazy or feminist. In 1985 he was diagnosed with the HIV virus, which has made it today as a long-term survivor of the disease known.
