Jimmy Briand ( born August 2, 1985 in Vitry -sur -Seine ) is a French football player. Since mid-June 2010, the striker is the pro squad of the French division club Olympique Lyon.

Briand comes from the youth department of Stade Rennes. On 20 May 2003, he made ​​his debut in Ligue 1 when he came off the bench in the match against Paris SG in the 67th minute for Alexander Frei. In the season 2002/ 03 he won with the youth team of the Coupe Gambardella Rennes. Since the 2003/ 04 season, the attacker belongs definitively to the first team of Stade Rennes.
