Yoann Miguel Gourcuff ( born July 11, 1986 in Ploemeur, Brittany ) is a French football player. Since summer 2010, the midfielder plays for Olympique Lyonnais in Ligue 1

Career
Association
In 2001, the son of coach Christian Gourcuff moved to the youth of Rennes, for which he Profielf total of 66 games in Ligue 1 who from 2003 to 2006 and it was able to achieve six goals. In the final of the UEFA Champions League, the AC Milan won 2-1 against Liverpool, the offensive player was not even in the squad of the Italians. The following season, his playing time decreased further. For the 2008/ 09 season Yoann Gourcuff was initially loaned to Bordeaux before the club moved to the negotiated with AC Milan purchase option and Gourcuff committed for another four years. There, the midfielder won the 2009 Cup, League Cup and the French Player of the Year award. On 24 August 2010 he moved for the period specified transfer fee of 22 million euros for the Liga rivals Olympique Lyon.
National
Gourcuff played in various junior national team of France. In July 2005, he won the French U-19 national team after a 3-1 playoff victory against the English selection, the U-19 Championship in Northern Ireland. In this tournament, Gourcuff was a great support for the team and get him three goals.
On 18 August 2006 Gourcuff made his debut in the French U-21 national team in match against Croatia during the U -21 Football Championship in 2006. Doing so, he came up with the team to the semifinals, where they retired to eventual winners Netherlands. In a total of 17 missions get him four goals. 2007 and 2009, now as captain of the team, the U -21 missed the finals in each case by the EM.
On 20 August 2008 Gourcuff first played for the A national team when he came off the bench in a friendly against Sweden in the 90th minute for Jérémy Toulalan. In the World Cup qualifier against Romania on 11 October he scored his first goal for the Équipe Tricolore. In May 2010, the midfielder of coach Raymond Domenech has been nominated in the squad for the World Cup in South Africa. After the debacle of the local National Yoann Gourcuff suffered a sporting crisis, which led to Domenech 's successor, Laurent Blanc at times not even considered it. In May 2012, Blanc appointed him to the provisional French squad for the European Championship, took him then but not in the Ukraine.
