Jimmy Jones (Northern Ireland footballer)

James " Jimmy" Jones ( born July 25 1928 in Keady, County Armagh, † February 13, 2014 ) was a Northern Irish footballer. The striker was six times top scorer in the Irish Football League, where he won the championship title with Belfast Celtic and Glenavon FC. He also played three matches for the Northern Ireland national team.

Sports career

Jones was born the son of a sergeant instructors of the Special Constabulary.
