Jimmy Tamandi

Jimmy McCoy Tamandi ( born May 12, 1980 in Malmö) is a Swedish football player. The defender, who came in 2001 to a use in the Swedish national team, played in the course of his career in Sweden, Italy and Norway.

Career

Tamandi began playing football at Nydala IF. In 1992, he joined the youth section of Malmö FF. In 1998 he won at the side of Zlatan Ibrahimović and Kristian Haynes Swedish Youth Championship title and went through several Swedish youth selections. A year later he celebrated his debut in Allsvenskan. Although the league was missed at the end of the season and so the descent was clear in the Superettan, he remained loyal to the club. In the second division he established himself as a regular player and thus contributed to the direct re-emergence.
