Jimmy Tremeer

Jimmy Tremeer (actually Leonard Francis Tremeer; born August 1, 1874 in Barnstaple, † October 29, 1951 in Guildford ) was a British athlete.

At the Olympic Games in London in 1908, he won the 400 - meter hurdles in 57.0 s bronze behind the two Americans Charles Bacon, who 's set a world record with 55.0, and Harry Hillman ( 55.3 s ). Tremeer also took part in the javelin competition, but did not finish in the top seven.
