Jo Planckaert

Jo Planckaert ( born December 16, 1970 in Deinze, Belgium ) is a former Belgian cyclist.

In 1987 won Planckaert the Belgian Junior Championship. From 1991, he drove several professional football teams. During his career he won a total of 38 victories. In 1997 he was represented in the field of riders of the Tour de France, where he reached the time limit does not, however, in the 14th stage. In 2004 he ended his pro career.

Jo Planckaert comes from a cycling family. His father, Willy Planckaert was the winner of the green jersey in the Tour de France 1966. His uncle Eddy and Walter Planckaert and his cousin Francesco Planckaert were professional cyclist.
