João Inácio Müller

João Inácio Müller OFM ( born June 15, 1960 in Santa Clara do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil) is Bishop of Lorena.

Life

João Inácio Müller joined the Congregation of the Franciscan and put on 14 April 1985, the perpetual profession from. Müller received on 3 December 1988, the sacrament of Holy Orders.

On September 25, 2013, Pope Francis appointed as Bishop of Lorena. The Prefect Emeritus of the Congregation for the Clergy, Cardinal Cláudio Hummes OFM, gave him on 15 December of the same year, the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were Bishop Emeritus of Lorena, Benedito Beni dos Santos, and the Archbishop of Porto Alegre, Jaime Spengler OFM. The inauguration took place on 11 January 2014.
