Roman Catholic Diocese of Lorena

The Diocese of Lorena (Latin: Dioecesis Lorenensis ) is a located in Brazil Roman Catholic diocese based in Lorena in the state of São Paulo.

History

The Diocese of Lorena was born on July 31, 1937 by Pope Pius XI. built with the Apostolic Constitution Ad christianae plebis out of territory of the diocese and the Archdiocese of São Paulo Taubaté a suffragan. On April 19, 1958, the Diocese of Lorena was the Archdiocese of Aparecida is a suffragan.
