Jochem Ziegert

Jochem " Rosso " Ziegert ( born July 25, 1954 in Marburg ) is a German former professional football player and current football coach. As a coach, he led the amateurs from Hertha BSC to the DFB Cup final in 1993.

Career

As a player

Ziegert who is called because of his red hair " Rosso ", began his career in the sports friends Marburg. In 1975, he signed a contract with the Hesse division side KSV Hessen Kassel, but he left after a year towards South Zweitligist KSV Baunatal. Even in professional football to Ziegert prevailed, but mostly stuck with Baunatal in a relegation battle.

After it was twice narrowly escaped relegation, Ziegert moved to season 1978/79 to Tennis Borussia Berlin in the 2nd Bundesliga Nord. As coach

At the beginning of his coaching career was Ziegert youth coach and assistant coach of the amateurs of Hertha BSC.

Gained fame Ziegert, when he led the amateurs of Hertha BSC as head coach in the DFB Cup final in 1993. They had previously next to the amateur club SGK Heidelberg also renowned clubs VfB Leipzig, Hannover defeated 96 1 FC Nuremberg and Chemnitz FC. Personal

After the End of career as a player was Jochem Ziegert financial officer at the Berlin Regional Finance Office. The coaches activity it exerts only a sideline. Ziegert is divorced and has one child.
