Comments

  • Simpson tells in his book "Touching the Void" that during his days of struggle for survival over long distances maintained him an inner voice and inspired to save his life, while at the same time a lot of other, inconsequential voices, memories and hallucinations went through his head - including the Boney M- Brown Girl in the ring catchy tune that he could not stand. He also reported that he successfully fought against the illusion that the events possess a deeper meaning and that he could rely on a divine power.
  • Simpson turn finds mention in the song Ali in the Jungle of the British band The Hours.
